Working alongside the Bloomberg Terminal, the Analyzer is a proprietary business application which empowers traders with rapid research and security comparison capabilities while assessing risk against an organization’s investment objectives. BA gives analysts the ability to launch micro applications and widgets, that perform various types of analysis and is designed to be a companion to the analyst’s workflow.

Leading UX and UI design for this project, our primary goals were to increase adoption by enhancing the user experience and elevating the overall look and feel of the application. In addition, creating a tool that could be easily deployed and also minimized to save valuable screen real estate. We worked closely with application engineers and developers to understand the interface and functions of the tool and determine how we could best enhance its usability.

We delivered an enhanced dashboard and reporting tool that users can export and share with colleagues, as well as curate custom dashboard views, giving users the ability to recreate or leverage other layouts to investigate securities they are interested in investing. The result is an ecosystem driven by the community that provides powerful analytical tools.
